Dream Big

We all have the capacity to dream. It is a power we should definitely tap into. Our dreams are where we find the drive to live each day with purpose. Our purpose. Our Divine Purpose. I am not speaking of the dreams dreamt in sleep. I am talking of what we desire for our waking hours. Where do we want to be? What do we want to do? What kind of person do we want to be? How do we want to live?
Once we dream all of this up, then we are faced with the question of how do we get there.

First and foremost, you have to have confidence in yourself, and you have to have confidence in the Universe. It will always support you on your path. With that knowing you can go in confidence. Take a risk, but instead of seeing it as a risk, choose to see it as an opportunity.

Trust in those who encourage you, let them help. For it is together, with the right people, that we can tap into a power bigger than ourselves. Don’t bother with the ones who discourage you and try to keep you from your path. Only let them in on your plan after it is already finished, then there is no way for them to tell you that you can’t do it.

Make sure you are dreaming big. The mere thought of your dream should blow you away, at least a little bit. Remove any thoughts of limitation. There is nothing you can’t do. Let it come from a place of love. Harm no one. You may encounter those who take offense or get upset about what you do. This is their issue, not yours. As long as you aim to bring your light and your gifts to the world in a loving way, stand in that confidence that you are doing what is right for you.

If you are not sure what is right for you. Make a list of what you enjoy doing, things you want to do, and things you are good at. Examine them and see what you come up with.

Do not forget to DREAM BIG!

Forever We Dance

I have been going through Forward Motion counseling at Inner Quest Church. You get projects, 3 at a time, 15 total, to work through. I am on #10. This week I am concentrating on ebb and flow. My 3 days of flow (yoga) were Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. My 3 days of ebb (resting/being in nature) began yesterday. I brought my personal journal with me and decided to share it:

May 31, 2012
I am spending Day one of my ebbing at a table in the front yard of Inner Quest Church. I hear the song of the birds as one of my guides wanders into the woods. Two of my other guides sit on either side of me and together we just savor existence. My angels begin to come in to enjoy the moment as we just be. I begin to realize that I don’t do this often enough. We spend time in conversation, guidance and healing work, but rarely do we sit together and simply be.
Everything seems so far away. I feel like I have drifted into a completely different reality. My mind wants to rush back to my responsibilities, but my spirit will barely allow it to entertain the idea.
There is a certain beauty in mere existence. Something about this place I have wandered to makes love seem so easy. The breeze romances the trees, and the trees accept and allow as they come together in a dance. The fae join in as the music continues to play. It is a symphony that will play long after I am gone for the music of the universe never ceases. Forever we move. Forever we dance. Everything touching and effecting and bringing into flow everything else. We are not only connected to each other, but to our planet and everything on it. We are connected to our universe and all of the infinite possibilities within it.

Choose your impact on the world. You hold the power to make a difference.
